Band Members

The people who've made Rotting Corpse a band for four decades — past and present.

Every bio here is built from verified sources — interviews, press, and band history, cited in the text.

Former Members

Others who've played in Rotting Corpse over four decades — not enough on the record yet for a full bio, but part of the story.

Louie Carrisalez

Drums, c. 1987

Came over from San Antonio's Helldogs to play drums, then moved on to Devastation. He's also the same Louie Carrisalez who toured as Death's vocalist in 1990, the same European run Walt played guitar on.

Randy "Gribb" Cook

Drums, 1986–1987, 2004 reunion jam

Started out on bass, then took over the kit in late 1986. Moved back to Michigan the next summer. Showed back up for the 2004 jam that got the band going again.

Luke Brewer

Guitar, 1988, 2004 reunion jam

Joined on guitar in 1988, and was in the room for that 2004 reunion jam too.

A few more names show up along the way with barely a sentence to them: bassists Marty Griffin, Mark Salis, and Mando Tovar, second guitarist Roger Gallardo out of San Antonio's Hellpreacher, and a couple of guys nobody seems to remember by more than a nickname. Know something we don't? Tell us before we guess.
